First off I want to say hello.I'm new here....May you all vote as you see fit and with good conscience! That be a yes or no vote. Now heres my 2 cents.First off why is it that the salary got back what was taken from them????Why were we told we would get back what was taken yet the EOS has NOT been resolved(lies, anyone)???I was told it would be about a month ago...com'n what is up with that???I wont even mention our great CEO and his pay.Alot of people are saying lets go with this and fight for another day..ok but what will they pull before then??More opening the contract up and more damage??I'm all for getting more jobs and all but HERES the thing...the MEDIA hates us and that will NOT change. We can do good things in the community but in the end they still regard us as overpaid monkeys..lazy and greedy.Everyones so worried about the media!!Who cares!!!Another thing is we will have a republican president in when Obamas time is up.That is a given..no disrespect to any republicans on here because that is your God given right. But we all know republicans wont be favorable toward us.Another thing is how the retirees are being treated.I was taught to respect my elders. So I will vote NO and deal with the consequences of that vote.God Bless you all.Again vote how you feel best helps you and your family.I will stand in solidarity with my union brothers and sisters regardless of the outcome.Thats all we have.WE ARE THE UNION..THE WORKERS!!!Remember that!

Dark lady I agree with a lot of the things you said. Broken promises. Salary employees get fat bonus checks. Take from the poor and give to the rich. As far a public perception, that is the IUAW fault for being so out of touch with the members. The Chicago vote should have sent them a message. Bob King should quit sitting down with the CEO at 5 star restaurants and sit down with his members and maybe he would know what we except.

Yeah, exalt equals positive karma...smite negative. Someone may have deleted it cause of the duplicate post, but I don't do that because not everyone checks both boards.

In this economy a NO vote is crazy please explain. ford has all time high record profits, and their future looks very bright. yet, our leaders cant seem to negotiate a piece of it for us.

It is a bad economy right now...so how does a yes vote to a bad contract help the economy??? Its only taking money out of our pockets that would be pumped right back in...do you think Ford is going to take our money and donate it to economy to relieve any of that pressure? Hell no, its just gonna mean bigger bonuses for the fat cats who screwed us...

I posted on this thread and it was deleted, too.. I also had numerous posts deleted yesterday on the KTP board. They all basically pertained to why we shouldn't vote for the contract. Hmmmmm?

Detroit is one of the worst hit cities in America as far as the economy and they need jobs bad...but they had enough sense and "backbone" to vote NO!! I understand people are afraid, that is what they want us to be...that and DIVIDED!

People talk about location and cost of living...Chicago spoke loudly...and they need money more than anyone...that's an expensive place to live. KCAP is as affordable as Louisville...and 90% yes? They totally bought into the "you are closing if you vote no" scare tactics.
