if the company makes between 1.2 bil and up to 12 bil we get a profit sharing....we made 3.7 bil in the quarters 1 and 2 this year so hence the $3,700 early payout average on Nov. 11th....the 1.6 bil profit today means an average of $1,600 plus the last quarters profits in our pocket come April!

I understood it to be the same as what ktp1989 stated....3.7 billion in profits equals $ 3,700 average Profit sharing check! I thought the first to quarters had profits that equaled 4.9 billion? ( 2.3 & 2.6 )

Well if we was to get a average of $3700 I am looking at my year to date gross and it looks as I have gotten $3200, I know it was based on 1850 hours worked for the year, 925 each 1/2 which I worked.Anybody else notice this yet.The stub is not online yet but its on our ytd total.

It's all bullshit...they can tell the media we get one thing, but yet we never actually get the announced amount.

You would think .the overtime we work that we would be close to $3700 average. But I guess 3700 - 10% 370 Is close to $3200

After all the adding and subtracting, I still came up with somewhere between $3300 and $3400 gross. Take home around $2000. I added all the deductions (taxes) and subtracted the weekly pay from the YTD gross (both before and after TESPHE). That's is how I came up with the range I gave. Keep in mind, I work in Bodyshop B crew. I only flipped home a couple of times this year and I was one of the few that actually worked when the plant had downtime this year. Plus I worked as much OT as they would let me have.

Pay stub is posted . Not even close to 3700 , The union must have been using ford math when they wrote the highlight book.

Bucketman just wondering, where are you getting 1850 hours for the year and 925 hours for half? A straight 40/week for 52 weeks comes up to 2080.
The only thing that counts against the profit sharing hours are personal time. At least by the letter Labor sent out.
I guess the people that where laid off at LAP did not get any or does SUB count toward anything?

All LAP TLO employees for the year didnt get a dime.. But that's ok. I feel great, For me, I would do it again and again!!! When you get a once in a life time opportunity to take a YEAR break away from Ford.. That's priceless !! Enjoy your profit sharing ....

I just find it hard to believe that 20,000+ people had enough hours to make the average $3750.

Thats a number that they was telling us due to the fact the rest was going to veba, I guess now they took the hours and some cash.

I am an LAP employee and was feeling a little bummed out about not getting profit sharing even though I was aware of that when I decided to stay at LAP rather than transfer out.I have enjoyed my time off,and when I found out I was going to get my vacation pay and exc. absence pay clearing $2275.00,after not hitting a lick for a full year that bummed out feeling faded away. Now I have to get my mind right and get ready to get back to work and start earning my living.

Since we are allowed to take pay in lieu again they should pay you for it when ever you ask them to.
