As a result of Ford’s 2011 financial performance, Ford will make profit sharing payments to approximately 41,600 eligible U.S. hourly employees. In accordance with the formula in the UAW-Ford collective bargaining agreement, Ford’s North American pre-tax profits of $6.2 billion will generate approximately $6,200 per eligible employee on a full year basis. Based on first-half 2011 results, the formula generated approximately $3,750 per employee, which was distributed in December 2011. For the second half of 2011, the formula generated approximately $2,450 per employee, which is planned to be distributed in March. Individual profit sharing payments will be higher or lower based on employee compensated hours. corporate.ford.com/our-company/investors/investor-news/investor-news-detail/pr-ford-posts-2011-pretax-operating-35878Be lucky to bring home $1200 after veba and uncle sam get theirs .

Another example of the great enhanced profit sharing plan orchestrated by the lovely IUAW.

Considering I met no one that made this claimed average of $3750, I would assume most of us will get $1900-$2100 in March.

If you voted Yes to this contract, stand in line with your hand out, your mouth shut, take your money, walk away quietly with your head hung in shame...
If you voted No to this contract, stand in line with your hand out, bitching that it's not enough, take your money, walk away continuing to bitch about how hard you just got fucked...

It is amazing to me that employees will continue to buy new cars from an employer that screws them over on a regular basis.

Not that I care, but we no longer own any part of Volvo or Mazda. That lot should be full by now.

They do not enforce the union made parking rules. When was the last time anyone saw one of our 85 year old security guards patrolling any of the parking lots? Never!!!

Hate to say it, but I see that Expedition driving the lots every day on day shift. I have bought two new Fords in the last year and will continue to support my employer which seems like common sense to me. I don't like working at Ford, I don't always care for the way our union continues to sell us out, but I do have enough pride left to drive nothing but new Fords.

they may patrol and see a blue oval on vehicles, but if they look hard they would see dodge caravans and some kia's with the oval on them.

If these stupid ass people want to keep buying Kias they shouldnt get a bonus or even work here. They dont think if should matter, but it does. When kia or other non union auto companys sale more and more it only makes our union weak. They complain about being F%$^ by the union but the union doesnt have the pull they used to.Because when you have to compete with kia on pay and benifits it only brings ours down.

I remember when all those "mysterious" things would happen to vehicles such as Kia's while they were parked in our lot.......
Of course there weren't Kia's around then, but you get the point.
They don't have video cameras in the lots do they? Just axin'....

I believe Ford still owns a percentage of Mazda. I think its a little different if someone buys a car when Ford owns it. I guess Mercery cars should park at gate zero also?

Amazing how this subject turned from Profit sharing to who is parking what in the parking lots. Christ....your lucky you have a job right now and live in a country where people can still afford to buy $60,000 trucks. Go back to work.

What amazes me about the car thing is I work at Ford and yes I drive a Ford. My wife does not work at Ford and does not owe Ford anything. She makes more than I do, with that in mind she can drive what she wants. I support my work. If she chooses to drive a BMW so be it. If Ford made a lux. car like that im sure she would of bought a Ford. With that said if Ford would give us raises and not take money from us, Im sure you would see more Fords instead of KIAs. Last time I checked I could buy a KIA van with a 100000 mile warranty for about 23000 loaded. Last Winstar I bought cost 39000 and blew up at the 50000 mile mark.

Not to hijack the parking lot thread, but when in March is the profit sharing going to be paid?

I believe Ford does build a luxury car, it's called a Lincoln. Also, I was thinking the same thing, how did this thread go from profit share money to who drives what. Love this forum When reality T V sucks that's when I log on to the Ford Gossip page.

A post on the UAW-FORD Facebook page states that profit share will be on March 14. Not official, just what one person stated.

It went from profit sharing to who drives what because of who drives what is how we get profit sharing. You buy a kia and then complain about low profit sharing or no raise. How the hell can someone work here and think buying imports is ok. Also it would be cold day in hell when my wife drove something besides ford.

What amazes me about the "enhanced profit sharing is" we had the biggest profit since the late 90's and in the late 90's I averaged 12,000 profit sharing and now are to get about $6500 this year.....and we have half the employees!!! Can someone please explain the "enhanced profit sharing" and it's improved "clarity". Hope everyone who voted for this trash is enjoying their lack of gains while the salary folk enjoy theirs.

Don't forget...fewer employees...less profit sharing with bigger profits...clearly it's enhanced.
