We're all free to find other jobs. Why would I leave? I like my job, other than the diminishing benefits, no raises, less holidays, and co workers that cant comprehend that keeping a good older car, or buying a used auto dont effect Ford/their bottom line one bit. But if swelling up over parking spots keeps you happy, have fun.

It's not going to be enforced and hasn't been enforced for a long time. Also if you have a handicap placard why do you even need to be working in the first place. It is what it is,but complaining on here is going to solve nothing.

as far as upholding a rule...!!!rules are rules uphold them!! Da!!! Was I missing the point... silly me! This is about rules, not someone who has a hard on about people who drive non-Ford vehicles. One question if you are so high and mighty about RULES why not list all the rules being broken and BITCH consistently... Ever enter the plant doors, they say place butts in can yet all those butts lay on the ground, no smoking within 15 feet of door... I see smokers right outside the door (go rat them out) the restrooms say please flush when done (why a sign is needed for this) but a lot of people break this rule... I see the whole flushing issue as a major problem its a bunch of shit!!! Fork trucks running into things go get them sons of bitches... Come on people these are not union brothers and sisters we are talking about!!! THEY ARE RULE BREAKERS... THEY DON'T BELONG HERE WITH US... Model employees Get a life!! And the non ford product is not a Ford Motor Rule IT's a Scott Eskridge endorsed rule...

Any way I do remember a memo about new parking procedures a few years back and that this would be enforced in the near future.Dont remember one about flushing toilets or butts.So I don't think it's a Ford Rule!So I can only harp about rules at hand .As far as get a life I have one I come in here every day work and make money just like you I presume.For 19 yrs and I've pretty much followed the rules while Im working anyways.I still don't understand what type if person pulls in everyday to work and parks their car WHEREVER THEY WANT AND THINK SOMEONE WHO DRIVES A FORD WONT GRIPE!!!!Park and walk your sorry ass from gate 0 or buy a fucking FORD.If I drive a fucking import ever I will park in the proper spot!!! Maybe the sign in the parking lot should read UAW made vehicles only.... Or maybe some individual should file a complaint with EEOC and show Ford that a policy that gives preferential treatment based on the vehicle I drive is Illegal... Kinda like having white only drinking fountains, you can't enforce a policy based on race, religion, national origin, vehicle I drive... and if you give preferential treatment to some one based on those lines its DISCRIMINATION.... Maybe that's why the VW vote failed they didn't want to embrace the UAW concepts??

If I was you I would get a lawyer and TRY to sue ford and see how far that gets you!A private Co can surely make its own rules about what comes on to THEIR PROPERTY! May have a case if there wasn't a proper parking area for imports . Park and walk !!!!

I never once stated that this was a condition of employment at Ford Motor Company. As a matter of fact, Ford could care less what you drive, they only said that if you choose to drive a NO FORD then you will have to park in a designated area. GM has this same policy as well. It violates nothing and by going to Labor will only prove how uninformed you really are. Like I said in a earlier post, the UAW can't control this policy, they would rather have a UNION MADE CAR policy instead. Please get that attorney and waste your money and time for we all will be laughing at you for doing so. Then again you won't be posting nothing on here again so why bother writing all of this anyways.

Here is my less than 2 cents worth because on this forum that is what it is worth. My beef is that when I needed work done on my Ford product I had to rent a car. The rental car place had no Ford vehicles so I was forced to pick something else. A GM product for those wondering. When I came to work, being a person who tries to abide by the rules, I parked at Gate 0. I have a locker with all my work stuff in it at Gate 4 and work in body. Talk about a walk! Then, the very next day after picking up my Ford vehicle, I pull in the lot and see a few GMs, Chryslers, and multiple Japanese cars peppering Lot 5. I called security and told them. They asked for every car's make, model, and color. I didn't memorize them!!! I was then informed without this info they could do nothing. Why have a policy that cannot be enforced by those charged with that task?!? I believe it is because security drives every make beside Ford and they just don't care, but I digress. Although it seems like that may be the world we live in now based on all the "mind your own business" posts. Again, worth less than 2 cents, but hopefully I've made my stance clear. Now I will rest...

I may not like the company I work for personally, but Im not going to put myself out of a job and buy another brand of vehicle. If we all had the mentality as some of the posters on here, we would be out of a job pretty dam quick. As for buying a vehicle with a jap crap name plate, you should quit Ford and go to work for To Joe and jap crap factory.
