Anyone have an idea how paint and body are going to do the Easter holiday for C-Crew? I've asked my committee person and all I got was, " you know that's a good question"
If anyone at LAP remembers what they did last year feel free to chime in

If anyone at LAP remembers what they did last year feel free to chime in From our weekly update on the 10th... C-Crew: Any C-crew employee who did NOT get July 4th converted to personal time can apply for a voucher with your supervisor or in Labor Relations. Also, C Crew will be off on Good Friday and working on Easter Sunday night per the CBA. We are preparing proposals to the 2015 negotiations to resolve the issues we couldn’t fix locally with working Easter! This is how it went last year as well for C-crew at LAP.

We didn't lose the Easter holiday. Easter never was a Holiday. Under a traditional contract all Sunday work was double overtime and so production was rarely if ever scheduled. The holiday has always been Good Friday. That gives employees a three day weekend under a traditional contract .
When modern operating agreements and alternate work schedules such as 3-crews became standard, the National contract was never amended to salvage the long Easter weekend. Another example of our Union letting us down to accommodate the Company.

Although you are correct about Easter never being a Holiday since it always falls on Sunday, we used to get "Easter Monday" off and that was give up during one of the modifications.
