I dont know about the rest of you but it has been impossible to keep up with what you owe to doctors with Humana. The other day I got bills from services back in Dec. After 30 years with Humana at Ford and other places I have worked I dropped them and went to BCBS. It has been so nice to get the explanation of benefits and see the words patient owes nothing

I love them but they don't cover chiropractors, otherwise I'd go back to BCBS

Bcbs won't pay for nexium,or allergy shots,or test.shots I really didn't like them.Plus they seemed hard to deal with when I called with a question.just my experience tho.

I don't understand why the HMO is so shitty here. HMO's in MI and in VA when I was at NAP was nothing like this crap Humana is.

I have Humana and have had no real issues with them. They wouldn't pay for nexium for me either though.Supposedly my dr. Jumped thru all the hoops and they still denied it.

I had it with Humana, kept getting bills, not for much but always billed for something then I went with bcbs and have had not one problem and they don't pay for nexium but they do offer a generic.

I switched from Humana & am so happy I did. It has been MUCH better. Luckily our chiro only charges $20 a visit & we dont need allergy shots. The reason both of them wont cover nexium is that you can get otc now, same reason they stopped covering allegra, problem is otc cost more for us than rx & the otc nexium doesnt do the job like the rx did.
