Can we get all the vehicles in the plant to do 5 mph like they are supposed to do.The small lifts are limited why not all of them? The golf carts, tugs and more seriously the large propane powered lifts go way to fast in here. Who do we talk to.Thanks

Maybe talk to the same people who need to do something about all the pedestrians walking in no walk zones, talking on phones & texting with ear buds in WHILE doing that waking. Then giving youb a dirty look or the finger when you honk or say something.

Idk about KTP but there arent any forks at LAP limited to 5mph.The plant would shut down if they were. Lol. I do agree with you about those cart drivers. They are insane

That's true...Only time I walk out of the walkway is when stock or a vehicles parked in it..Just saying.Or a supervisor is bullshitting with someone on the line and they're to lazy to get off it so they park in a walk way ...Should be able to talk to someone about it I agree. They even changed the burden of stopping in cross walks and put it all on the ped. That means if you get hit it's your fault..should be like any 4 way stop and stop in all directions .just my opinion tho..PS also I've seen papers about phones, talking and texting, ear buds but can't recall ever seeing one saying Slow The Hell Down to the drivers in here...Have you?Because Ford doesn't care period ...

Their is a serious problem at KTP with PMHV safety. No one seems to know the rules. Ford better get a hold on it quick before their is a serious accident. I'm in material handling, and on average have 3 or more near misses every week due to people not walking in the pedestrian walk way, including the majority of supervision. The aisle is the drivers work area and the pedestrian walkway is for everyone else. Complacency can happen in a heart beat, I understand this that's why it is a two way highway the driver and pedestrian MUST pay attention and make each other aware of one another. People automatically assume that plant traffic is the same as parking lot traffic at a grocery store and that the pedestrian has the right away. This is not true in the plant if you are hit outside the pedestrian walkway the driver will be penalized but the pedestrian will be fired for not being where designated. This is clearly worded in the material handling videos. People that do not drive don't take drivers jobs serious and think we have all the time in the world. My route has over 60 parts that I supply if the line goes down because of me I get wrote up. My biggest fear driving is hitting someone, I don't ever want that to happen. But drivers or pedestrians must stay aware for the company is not going to lift a finger until someone gets hurt. I called out health and safety about getting the floor repainted in a no walk zone, I was told it would be taking care of immediately, it is still not done and that was in Febuary.

I'm not just blame the forklift drivers Pedestrians are issue also. Most drivers don't know what a stop sign is. I do understand most of jobs are overloaded. Its a safety issue that the Union needs to address Those propane forks are way too fast

So true about supervision being the worst, how do they expect others to follow the rules when they don't? Upgraders & utilities along with supervision are the worst for cutting through areas they arent supposed to & not even looking.Bathroom breaks are when you get the ear buds, phone, texts etc. I think anyone that drives biggest fear is hurting someone, I wouldn't bid on a fork job for years because of that fear, have had some close calls because of inattention due to the things I've described & yes there have been a few times I wasn't paying attention like I should have been, that's why both parties have to pay attention, driver & pedestrian, in case the other one isn't.
