I'm glad to hear they raised our union dues.not.now the first priority is to get rid of 2 tier which I'm not against.however I'm a little pissed that not only are they getting more union dues now there going to double dip by raising 2tier..this could have all been prevented by just bringing 2 tier up to 1.. This horse crap has got to stop!!!there is no solidarity in this entire uaw anymore.which makes me SICK!!!!

Either way after this last contract in 2011, survival of all our pay and benefits is going to Hell. If the next contract doesn't benefit us all then its time to raise Holy Hell at the UAW hall.

He said he will end the two tier . Which he should . But he specifically stated he will bridge the gap in pay . Remember that is just fancy words for bringing up the two tier and lowering legacy workers to common pay . So this means no two tier will never see 28 hr . ANd legacy workers will be brought down . Basically you are looking at maybe 25hr for both. They will offer all legacy workers extra money for a buydown. I would say they will come at you with a 100,000 . Like the buyouts . Plus the 2nd tier workers votes . Between the two . It will pass. Too many people see that instant cash and keep their job . Heck fiat already stated they want to start national negotiations this summer . Because it will take a year to get yhis worked out with uaw . That they want equal pay this contract.

If this union votes to lower my wage I will be one pissed off sob..60 k doesn't even come close to justify a 4$ pay cut and its a joke to even bring up the idea..ford has set my standard of living for the last 15+ years and I'm not about to go backwards..just the thought alone makes me sick and the rest of u should feel the same way..

It has never been said anywhere that the union is going to negotiate to lower wages. That is just people on this site throwing out theories that have zero substance to them.

They won't have to lower anyone's wages in 10-15 years.... Everyone on floor will be from Mexico
