Just wanted to see if anybody else has had this encounter, I've been asking to get UofL football ticket for two years. From the person your supposed to ask....Yet I still get the same answer. "we don't have any yet but I'll let you know as soon as I get them" funny thing is I did this same thing last year and I was told to call a certain FORD SALARIED SUPERVISOR. To see if he had any left that he could sell me. Which yes he did have some 12 left that he bought for $15 and wanted to sell me two ticket that are not next to each other for $30 a piece...kinda fucked up. Then like I said been asking for two months and he didn't have any yet. Then I get the weekly update and all of a sudden they are all sold out of the good lower section tickets but still had 100MORE UPPER LEVEL TICKET. Soo my question is who has gotten some tickets that are actually paying our shitty union due? Cause what I have been told those ticket are for Union workers and the last time I checked ford Supervisors are not union.... So for the bad typing and fucked up word just wanted to get this out ASAP!!! Signing of as, FUCKED YET AGAIN!!

Funny thing is that every game that I have attended at UofL, football or basketball, I see the same UAW higher ups and kiss asses in the same exact seats every time. 2 years ago when we came back from retooling I ran into one of them at the concession stand (Papa Johns) and asked if they were season ticket holders. Their reply was, Oh no, those seats are held by the Ford/UAW something or other. I no longer have tickets myself, but it must be nice to be in the "Good Ole Boy" club. Im sure our union dues help secure those tickets as well. Oh yea, and I like how they tell us the UAW has no hospitality tent at Thunder either. No assembler trash allowed.

They never had lower level this year. But if you go to E-18 and you will be able to get your tickets. Maybe you should read weekly updates... they are on there on this week.

Same thing happened to me last year. I could never get tickets during the time they said. When I did see the union guy I was told they sold out. I went on Craigslist and called a guy that had 50 tickets at 25 a piece. Told him I needed 4, he said he was at work and I would have to meet him there. He was a sup in the shop. After telling him how I felt he sold them for 15. The following mon I talked to the union. Was told he was able to buy all unsold tickets, funny thing this same union rep told me a week prior they were sold out.

Two things,
the union guy that distributes those always sits in the cafeteria during the lunch period. First come first serve.
Also, it's not hard at all to get tix to ul games... Walk up, $10 will always get you in.

Three things,
First fordgirl1 if you would have read the full message you would have seen that I have been looking at the weekly updates and also calling "the guy" that's in charge of them I'm on c crew there for he isn't here or hissing out in the office and says he don't have them yet,
Second, I'm on lunch at midnight he probably in bed so he is NOT in the cafeteria and third the point is why are FORD SUPERVISORS getting them before line union worker the guy that sells the ticket work for us not the supervisors.

Not just a union thing. They are leftover tickets, that uofl sells on the cheap to large corporations to distribute to employees. At ford, we tack on a dollar to the price and give it to charity.
