PLEASE SEE IF YOU CAN HELP SOMEONE BEAT CANCER: Louisville native and Trinity
High School sophomore Owen McMasters is fighting leukemia for the second time.
This time, he needs a bone marrow transplant. Owen is one of thousands of
blood cancer patients who have to look for a bone marrow donor outside of their
family. Even though there are millions of people on the donor registry, 6 out of
10 patients currently can't find a donor. YOU could be the match and the cure
for Owen or for one of the other patients who are hoping for a second chance at
life. All it takes to join the donor registry is a cheek swab and a consent
form. And donating marrow isn't scary like most people think it is! Come to one
of the below donor jams and get the simple swab to see if YOU are the match:
9/16 & 9/17 University of Louisville Health Sciences Center, Courtyard of the
Kornhauser Library, 500 S Preston St, Louisville, KY 40292 9:00AM -3:00PM
