discussions have been completed at the local level and now must be approved up north...probably know something by Monday...Tuesday at latest...Normally it's about 2-3 days before a decision is made and with the weekend first part of the week will be the target for info

well on dayshift Saturday, Kessinger had the day off, and Rodney left to referee a basketball game. Its fine for them to agree for us to work the 10 as long as they don't have to be a part of it.

I wonder how many of the officials and union reps made it in Wednesday and Thursday? I was here both days and feel why should I be penalized for OT when I was here able and ready to work-not my fault no one showed up.

But just remember, its do as i say, not as i do. And pay those fucking dues!!!! You grunts!

If you did show up thursday & everyone else got SSW, you basically came in for free i guess? Incorrect...if an "act of god" level 3 is handed down just like afternoon shift got last monday...any hours you worked that day are above the 8 hours short work week you will receive and will not affect any other overtime worked that week.

It's 3am on Sunday morning and Rodney is in his office...so he's laying in here and getting it just like the rest of us.

So if someone worked 10 hours thursday they also recieve 8 hours of SWW for that day? Cant remember that happening before but seems fair to those that did come in.

That is correct...was a change to the contract in 2011....it's an incentive for those who make it into work to get paid above what everyone else on the shift would receive if it is ruled a level 3 "act of god"

wouldnt the fact that saturday was made mandatory at the last minute mean the "act of God" was declared already?

That sounds like a dream world to me. We must not have had a level 3 at lap since 2011

Being that b crew got act 2 ( AWOL for no shows and pay for those who did ), does that mean we should have gotten our 10 ours if we asked? Aren't they suppose to give us our hours if we want it. They made us go home after the 4 hr deal. Makes since if it was act 3 but being act 2 the people who came in should have gotten their normal 10 hrs. I think.
