Just to let everyone know that untrue facts were stated in a letter that came out last night from the chairman's report. The letter stated that B crew did not run on March 4th or 5th, therefore has to work a mandatory Saturday on March 21st.( B crew already ran a mandatory Saturday on March 7th).........B crew ran a whole 10 hour shift in bodyshop on March 4th. B-crew body did not run on March 5th , but made that up on March 7th. The only shift that hasnt made up production is A crew , yet they have no mandatory makeups scheduled, just voluntary double time Sundays. How on Gods green earth is this fair ? Also , B crew body had no union rep show up from March 3rd , until March 11th. ........B crew workers saw the worst part of that snow storm that night when they went home. A normal 12 minute drive took me 95 minutes. A co worker of mine got home after 8 am, and lives in nearby Shelby Co.........another co-worker got a hotel room for 3 nights so she could get to work.(lives 125 miles away) LAP went home at 12 midnight on March 4th, while B worked an entire shift then faced the brunt of terrible life threatening weather. No one to answer phone anywhere from the union, but they are quick to unjustly 'bargain' to make B crew make up time for another shift. It has some folks wondering if the bargaining folks are getting production bonuses now since it doesn't bother to have representation in the plant while membership is working

I wonder what the bargaining committee is going to say about it, if they respond at all. We need to keep it in their face until a reasonable anwser is given. Don't even mention it to Bodyshop union rep, he won't know what's going on.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for an explanation from the union.
The local already lets you work 11hrs a day without being in a launch, now theyre letting you get more overtime. You didn't want to see your family on your day off did you?
With all the extras they've been getting us lately, I cant wait to see what goodies they'll line up for us in the contract. Maybe 12 hrs? Fingers crossed!

I was told by some of the supervisors in body that the last day that was mandatory for bcrew, was suppose to have been Acrews turn. A lot of shit is screwed up.
