....several people that had volunteer to work on Friday that they didn't need them and that they couldn't work.
Now mind you, these people were told that if they signed up, they couldn't back out.
See, we're "helping" the company get all these extra units by "volunteering" to work on a holiday.
You think they went by the OT list when they told some people to work, and others could f*** off? You think they waited so late so the union couldn't/wouldn't get involved?
Do you think there will be ANY blowback by ANYBODY on this?
It's over. It's just over.

They just told people THEY DIDN"T NEED THEM?
Evidently they decided to mass relieve instead of tag.
But I had heard stock is going to be WAAAAAAAAY short.

they told everyone in trim that volunteered to come in to go ahead and come in tomorrow, and most of us are just extras.

Yep. Never too short to run with double time and holiday/bank the day on the table.
