Does anybody know how long they have to answer the stupid survey. I mean it's been 3 weeks since I put in for vacation and still no answer. Which means being I'm December eligible it's almost 5 months into my vacation time before I can get an answer.plain stupid the way vacation is handled.

I still don't get the survey ..fill it out turn it in then wait. Why not put in for it on the site then it's by seniority ,and you know in 3 days.I don't fill it out unless it's a week I have to have.Like your name fordmakesnosense.

Don't feel bad. Most on our line didn't even know that you had to do it on the HPS, I thought you still had to fill out the paper and turn it in. I found out about the online vacation singing a couple of weeks ago and have tried it a couple of times and itt keeps telling me that it's past the time I can use it. Its not allowing me to try for next derby week. A buddy of mine said that it was now closed and Ringo in the bodyshop, screwed it up and gave low sen. people off instead of higher sen. people. On top of that only 26 people signed up for vacation days. So that tells me that most if the 180 people on bcrew body didn't even know they switched it to the HPS, everyone's pissed. Pete, our union rep said Ringo told him we had to wait tell May 3rd for second round. BULLSHIT. Miscommunication of switching it to HSP, and them screwing sen. up to begin with, tells me they need to redo it all.

Monday, May 4 everybody will find out what they got for vacation weeks they requested. Then you'll get another chance to request different weeks if you didn't get what you requested the first time.

I don't know what the problem is . I received a labor bulletin dated April 2 stating that the vacation scheduling would be done by HPS this year with the first wave starting April 6. Second wave starting may 4. It was all spelled out clearly, easy to understand the process. Course, it was just passed out on April 29, but I can't see any problem. (Sarcasm)WTF? ?

Haven't you heard the company screwed it all up so our unions gonna give them another week or two to fix it

If you have 80 or less of Vacation time it is locked in the system as it is reserved for shutdown. Anything beyond the 80 hours can be scheduled.

If you did not get the original bulletin then contact Labor Relations as to why management did not get that info to you...company bulletins are to be cascaded by the company. Union bulletins are to be cascaded by the union. Labor needs to be asked why areas are not getting the bulletins? It's a misconception that your elected union officials are the one's that drop the ball when you don't get a company bulletin...incorrect. The union officials often bring them around as a benefit to the members and to avoid the backlash of information not distributed by the company, but let's be clear that it's the company job to distribute company directives.

Nowhere in any of my posts on this topic did I even mention the union. Just to be clear. But thanx for the heads up. (Sarcasm, again)

So, they started the second round and said screw you about not everyone seeing the handout about switching to HPS and the system not allowing you to even get on to do it. I told mike Stewart about it Friday before derby week and he said he was headed to relations to discuss it. I guess we lost the right to apply in the first round. Easy come easy go, like everything else.
