DATE: Tuesday, September 1, 2015 PLACE: Local 862 Union Halls, 2702 Chamberlain Lane & 3000 Fern Valley Road TIME: Polls open at 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 Polls close at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2015
Guess they don't want everyone to vote...this omits C crew from the ease of voting on a work day... I know, I know, you can drive out here and vote...but if you're like me, you always have something better to do than drive to Fern Valley or Chamberlain Lane on your off day.
Get out and VOTE!!!

Funny what we get to vote on. Get to vote on giving authorization for leaders to call a strike yet dont get to vote on leaders to authorize increasing my union dues. Get to vote on the contract yet dont get to vote on 11 hr workdays. O well, this will get a few suckasses a day off the line to tend to the voting booths. Hoping they pass out vaseline instead of stickers when we vote this year, will come in more handy

General Electric with all their sit down jobs has a stronger, more dominant Union than this pathetic Union. GE workers came out in force & meant business! That strong & determined mentality worked out pretty well for them & their contract.. But we're talking about UAW 862, where lazy, fake & incompetent fatasses thrive & the committed, honest, hard-working members get shit on!

GE, besides building the worst appliances on the planet, had two tier before we did and pays even less than ours does. GE is no union success story. Did u know 20,000 people once worked at appliance park making killer money?? Strike vote . Everyone please vote to strike. If u vote to not strike what u r saying is that no matter what, u r not willing to strike. This is the only uaw local I ever worked in where we got less that 100% of those that vote to vote to strike

These are great times for FORD, it should be for us as well....PERIOD.

Like I said, I'm voting no. Wage equity and a $5 raise might get a yes from me. Nah, I'd still vote no. Plenty others will vote yes

There are far too many anti-union Republicans working at KTP to ever result in 100% of the membership voting to authorize a strike.

Well yes I would probably vote no. That's the first thing I learned way back in the 80's in my first union job. Always vote no the first time. Don't worry though, that dream contract would pass with or without my vote.
