Totally agree! They want us to help them save more money so they can make even more money all while not showing us what will amount to peanuts. We have helped them for the last decade and we see how much of that went to our wages....none!

Just saw an article from the Wall Street journal dated Thursday ,talks about if we pool our insurance that would free up money for raises???WTF these fucks have made a killing the last decade? Now they can't afford raises without canceling our benefits?Sounds like we are screwed yet again.Hope they get us buyouts.

We'll get a raise and then the insurance will end up costing us more than what the raise gives us and the price will keep going up up up...

You would think 9 days away from a deadline you would be getting ready to go vote somewhere before the deadline arrives? But we haven't heard shit because the deadline doesn't mean shit to either party.Just once I'd like to hear "we are gone at 12:01 9/14"unless we have an agreement.I never heard of working under an old contract til I started here.Ive had 3 different union jobs.Un-real.

One sentence burns my ass.."money saved could go towards workers wages and not concessions ?Why would we give up ANYTHING!!! The one topic that I keep reading about in the news articles that is one the table, a priority, is bridging the gap between the tier wages. So the money saved may not necessary go toward tier one raises but more towards tier two so as to "bridge the gap". Just keep in mind that one of the goals in the first place of the two tier wage system was to bring our wages down to tier two. Over several contracts we will all make the same wage and we'll never be equal to our neighbor UPS workers again. After all, they are Teamsters.

www.freep.com/story/money/cars/2015/08/20/uaw-head-sees-retiree-medical-trust-model-new-contract/32066193/Boys and girls, it is coming. If you can't see the writing on the wall, you are severely sight challenged. What I don't like is they are making it sound like we have no deductibles, co-insurance payments, and lower prescription costs. That is BS! I pay more out of pocket now than anytime in my 22 years with FMC. I also don't like how they say with the company in control of our medical that they are locked in for the term of the 4 year contract. Again, this is BS also! Our health coverage can and does change on an annual basis. Please, Please educate yourselves on this topic. Healthcare, along with our future pension benefits, are my biggest worries with the "Big 4" companies that we now have to deal with.

Humana changes yearly, only on 1 year contract. BCBS is locked in for 2 or 4 years.

I was told a long time ago that all ford has to do is provide 2 different choices for insurance. And they (insurance co) can change anything at anytime..Don't know how true that is?
