Here's an interesting paragraph from a C-J UAW Contract related article: "Ford officials have been guarded about discussing the potential for boosting pay rates for the second-tier workers, but they've made it clear they're reluctant to commit to millions of dollars in increased payroll obligations. They have said the billions invested in new assembly plants, equipment and product launches wouldn't have happened if they were saddled with higher labor costs." If Tier1 & Tier2 members do not like the offer that Ford puts on the table, then they need to decisively vote that garbage down. All members have to realize that at Ford KTP every production hour NETS THE COMPANY $1.5MILLION......EVERY HOUR! They (Ford) have had 6 years of financial glory since the economic downturn. They didn't give back! They never ever considered giving back! The paragraph from the C-J article above sounds like a classic case of greed to me. You work for a greedy & arrogant company. It's really that simple. When we vote their garbage offer down & they don't come back w/a serious offer, we need to march our sweet asses right out the door. Losing $1.5MILLION every ticking hour will ruffle their feathers & make them get serious real quick I bet. www.courier-journal.com/story/money/2015/09/16/chrysler-uaw-contract-gives-ford-workers-hope/32510311/

Don't know where u got that 1.5m number , but every minute final runs $100k-$150k comes off those lines. That's 6 million in product at msrp at minimum per hour.

You absolutely just verified my math with your reply. I have no doubt that KTP clears 25% off of the trucks we build & $1.5M is 25% of $6M. Thanks for replying with that figure.

A little over 200 jobs off chassis pays for an entire shift. The rest is all profit.

And with money like that you would think a mother fucker would be proud of their workforce and reward them with long overdue financial gains? That tells you what a bunch of pieces of shit they really are!If we don't get at least 4$s worth of raises and At least 6000 sign on bonus(rather have it on my check). It should never pass .Even for a new hire..Hell their really gonna get fucked when we are gone.So hopefully they get that it's now or never for all of us!!Strike 2015 !!!!

Here's another fun number. May be off a bit but not by much I bet. Of that 6m. Only 420k is represented by labor costs.based on 7%, which is the average labor cost on a new vehicle as states by ford many times

Wanna see a number that wil make yours ears smoke figure this up. Take your per minute profit of what you all decided on. Now figure the 10 hrs of production per 2 shifts for the monday after easter we GAVE back, thats 20 hours of basically free production. PLUS the 1 minute every hour every shift that we gave back in break time or again free production for them. Roughly 10 minutes per shift, so 20 minutes a day (2 shifts) 5 days a week...100 minutes a week of free production. I cant figure that number up on here but its has to be an ungodly number of free production per year. 100 minutes a week is 5k a year plus the 20 for the monday after easter, Bet that number alone is more than we split up for our portion of profits

Don't forget about the health care co op if that happens the company will offload roughly a billion dollars of debt to the uaw.that savings there would allow the union to get rid of the 2 tier and still give healthy raises for everyone.
