As I understand it, Fiat was basically given Chrysler for free by the Obamination administration, and then promised that if Fiat imported x number of smaller fuel efficient cars that the LOAN ( that everyone calls a bailout) would not have to be re-paid. That essentially means that American tax payer money is being used to subsidize the out sourcing of American jobs.
Fight for you? We sold you out in the first place. I don't blame the Co. The Union lied. The Union said these would be "non-standard " jobs. The Union lied. The Union said we would NOT have two people doing the same job for different wages. The Union lied. The members, unless the union lied about the votes, voted to allow these jobs, and should have known the union was lying.
I voted NO.
That's the past.
Then YOU took a shit job, for shit pay, from a shit Co, with shit for reorientation.
I can't do better than what I make now. I can do better than what they offered you.
When I hired in people where taking pay cuts to get in due to the benefits. They where a different class of workers.
If this is the best you could do, then I'm sorry for you.
I'd fight for your equal rights. I would. But I don't expect the people who sold you out in the first place to stand up for you now.
