Less than 40 last week. Why no short work week? Because you left when they called time?

No short work week for C-crew senior people?
I know the extra paid holiday counted as compensated hours for us......
But I'm not shocked that payroll/hrs is gonna be fucked up, that's a reoccurring theme.

So if the new hires were told that they wouldn't get 40 hrs for awhile would they still have taken the job?I think so.Just saying it doesn't matter .Theyll beg for less hours by winter.

B crew new hire here. I have had 29 hours last week and 21 the week before. All of the people in training said we would get 40 hours/week if not more. I get that all the vets do not like new hires, but in my case I have a family and came from a good job. Nobody ever said we wouldn't be full time for a while

I agree it sucks..I work with a lot of new hires and don't see where you get no one likes you all?But there's really not much a person can do ?Bitching will prolly make you feel better but won't change anything. So would you have turned this job down if you knew this before they hired you?

Didn't really mean it like that. My dad has been there for over 25 years. With me its just worry some going extended time under 30 hours/week. I meant some vets

Still uncertain if I would have turned it down. I did years ago. From everything they was telling us there wasn't a concern with hours. If they would have said over phone we would go long stretches with no full- time I may have turned it down. For the younger guys with fewer responsibilities it isn't as big of a deal

I start Monday may 2 and I was wondering are we getting 40 hours a week? I was hoping to be working overtime also. Do we have to be there 90 days before we get bonuses? I believe there is one in June will I get that one ?

There will be no layoffs not currently anyways. They are in the process of launching Ccrew and launching a new truck, once they get the kinks out and get everyone on the same page we will be running wide open. Yes Ccrew might be running great in your area but not everywhere. Yes, some vendors are struggling but they are managing. There is still a lot to incorporate that is not even close to par. Instead of running 2 crews and falling short of production we run 3 hit our numbers even when there is a hiccup in the system. The only time we will have to worry about layoffs will be when they get everything going full force and realize they have to many people in certain areas or when the engineers decide they can cut jobs because they are beefing all areas up currently just to get things going.

New hires don't worry your 40 hrs will come I hired in the last time Ccrew fired up and I was a TPT. So I went through the short hours for 3 months I had to take a second job to support my family until they got things fully operational. We will get there and then everyone will beg for time off.

Ok that's not bad at all. Do you have to be there 90 days to qualify for bonuses. I believe I seen there is one in June.

I'm a little surprised that the company or union hasn't put out some sort of memo regarding our current hours being less than 40.
I think us veterans get it, but the new guys seem to be confused/worried......

They don't care, plain and simple. Just as long as those Union durs keep coming in.

I want a new 2017 SD. I just realized that the SD shares the same cab as the new model F150 and it seems that quantity overrides quality on the 150. Good luck to all of you at KTP on this launch.

Toddstang, Stamping will be making the cab components in-house at KTP. Then assembled in body. We will not be using any of the F-150 stock in any way.

Never ever ever ever buy the first year of a new model, let alone a whole new design being made with new tooling and a new paint dept and a new stamping process and 50% of the assemblers being new empolyees. Suckers bet

How much a new employee make there? They make about 80 units an hour They make up nearly 1/2 off grunt workers Based on the turn over rate, new hires are not compensated financially enough for the sacrifices required of them.
