Already seeing a bunch of morons on Facebook saying and spreading the word to vote no. Even new people. Gonna be making $40/hr at a factory job with more than likely zero education. In 3 years at that. Definitely good money. I think they're forgetting about the free health insurance part. My kid was in the hospital for emergency surgery and I didn't pay a dime. When I was in the hospital for 6 days they paid for everything. $0 insurance and a $0 hospital bill. Give someone else a $40 hour job they'll be paying $120 a week for insurance for a family plus $10000 premium a year.

Some of these people won't be satisfied until we are making 50/hr,10,000 sign on bonus, and a BJ

I was making $400/week my insurance was $60 a week for myself. Insurance started changing. I had to add my wife and we had 2 kids since my wife was changing jobs and was gonna stay at home for a few months while transitioning. I got quoted $260 a WEEK for family insurance! Leaving me with $160/ a week to take care of our family. Now imagine that back late 90's. But these kids have no idea how good we have it. I got family who can't even afford to go to the hospital and if they do they say they would rather be dead because the hospital bills gonna kill them anyways.

That’s the only thing I can see that would be a reason to vote no.

Many on my team are voting no. It doesn't seem worth striking to not get a pension.

Many on my team are voting no. It doesn't seem worth striking to not get a pension. lol, obviously no financial education with them. Ford is basically putting $10k a year into their 401ks. Multiply that by 30 years at 10% interest gives you roughly 1.8 million. Take out 4% a year after 30 years and it’s $72k a year, divide by 12 and it’s $6k a month, almost 4x what legacy gets. And the real bonus of all of that is that it’s YOUR money, when you drop dead 3 months after you retire that money goes to your kids/grandkids/etc. When legacy drops dead the checks stop. Agree they should hold out for their retirement healthcare. Also this number above are just what Ford contributes. If they add another 15% of their own cash the numbers get real stupid

I'm glad there isn't a pension, non legacy are getting another big bump on the match for 401k. Give me that all day long, you'll make way more in the long run and you can take it with you or pass on to kids when you die. Pensions are a thing of the past.
Saying you're going to vote no without seeing everything... That's just being ignorant. Gotta make smart decisions.

Gotta look tough by saying "vote no" even without knowing jack. I agree with the 401k. I'll take that over pension and I'm in the category of no pension.

I also have no pension, I increase my 401k contribution with every percentage raise we get. I want to be in control of my own retirement funds and if I don't get to see the full benefits of it at least my wife or children will. It seems common sense has gone by the wayside. It's really been going this way for awhile. Step away from "social media" and influences. Make a smart informed decision yourself people don't become part of the bullshit.

I think just shutting down KTP *(assembly) was absolute BS! If Fain calls 862 then ALL of 862 goes down! He is just trying to save money on the strike fund! Wait until this all gets settled. Then Fain will tell all the rank and file that they need to pony up and pay 3 hours union dues for an unspecified time to rebuild the strike fund. IMO! Well if Y'all hadn't noticed they are now taking 2 1/2 hours for union dues already! That didn't take long. Guess it is better than the 3 hours I thought they may go for. Time to pay back your strike pay!
