That's just how messed up the economic data is right now.


Durable goods shipped broke the is the highest its ever been.

Yet an article in the paper recently mentioned a drop/stagnation in orders.

I talked to a business economist I know recently, and he said people in his field increasingly believe the economy is right on the edge of taking off. But the housing collapse is still weighing heavy on the whole country, and nobody is sure if that will change in 6 months or 6 years..........
