After body and paint go back to the weekend Ccrew, final will follow after the next expansion. I just talked to a contractor that is coming in for the stacker, they are in contract for the next three years at KTP. After the stacker, paint and body the new product will come in. The only question mark is expedition and navigator, if ford keeps both products on a frame we will keep them if they go to a unibody they will leave. If I had to guess they will go to a unibody and leave. The only reason I say this is improvement on MPG, EPA standards lower again in 2016.

The Expedition/Navigator will stay on frame. They are schedule to launch next year. They will be adding some new jobs in trim and chassis. This is coming from friends that are on the Launch team. I'm hearing that the plant might be going to tag relief except for paint & body. They will be going to the 4X10 3 crew schedule as soon as possible. What new product is it that we might get? F-150 diesel? Dodge is putting a diesel in the 1500 in the 3rd quarter, so hopefully Ford will follow. We have the motor in production already. It just needs to meet EPA reg in the USA.

We were told the contractors building the new stacker have a big bonus offer if they can get it done by Christmas.

Google f150 diesel. You will get results for a smaller truck that could use the name f150 diesel, f100 or ranger. Also try googling ranger T6.

Whe we get the old c -crew rolling we will see how long before the big house starts c- crew. The number of new hires to get it rolling is 550 so lets see if the tpts stick around this year. If they do that will cover about half of what they need and give them time to train in frame chassis and trim.We will see I guess.

And we have 650 referrals in labor right now. New hire classes are weekly right now.

So with them still teating tpt apps That would lead me to think the chassis side will be 3 crew after the first of the year. Heard paint and body date is May but I think it will be much sooner than that and rolls will be frozen at some point? Any more thoughts or wait and see.Good luck all and the LTS trying to hired hope it happens for you.

I'm not putting any money on it.Think they will bring back tag relief and get what they can out of the plant.

Everything we are hearing in Skilled Trades is Final will not go to 3 crew...they will work 5 10hr days (10.7 max) and everyone else on 3 Crew...but like anything else...could change tomorrow.

As long as final is going five days a week the max they could go is ten hours per shift. 10.7 if they're on the four 10 hour shifts.

Enjoy the roller coaster ride while we are on the up swing. With the automotive industry you never know when you going to be down.

Construction appears to be going on across from paint, location of stacker most likely.

No way, that would be 4 less hours of production and paint can't keep up now as it is.
