We need raises, COLA reinstated. screw them and their pathetic taxed like hell raises..Im sure the union would rather us get the bonuses bc of them getting their cut so im not counting on them to fight much for us to get anything...or strike till Ford starts giving some because I dont see whats left to give up..yes im 2 tier and 2nd gen ford employee and I knew exactly what kind of screwing I was in for when I came here but it was far better all around than where I came from...I bought a HUGE bottle of lube when I came here just wish i didn't have to use it so often..OH and wheres my damn uniform 1shirt allowance and the free wifi out by the 12dollar per withdrawal atm machine we were promised by our "live in their air conditioned offices" union???

I would never take a paycut and give it to the lower tier...You took the job just like we did when we were hired..period.I hope they change the two tier crap but if they had their way they would cut all of our pay.Im hoping for buyouts or some kind of retirement then maybe they can move people up and we will both be happy.Until then I want all I can get for my 19 plus years of putting up with this shitty place and if that means a raise for US and not for you all then so be it..

Wildcat I dont know you or anything about you BUT you need to face to facts and realize that us tier 2s will NEVER be on the same level as legacy tier 1 people. You want the same pay and benefits you better go find a second job to supplement this one...we will NEVER have equal pay for equal work maybe we'll get close but never the same....you know where the gate is if you dont like it..

Finally..some tier 1 admitting they were fooled rather than lying and saying they voted the two tier down.amazing. Y does it seem that tier 2 has to suffer because tier 1 employees have been making $30/HR for a decade.yet most of u live out of your means and weren't able to save anything? Its not our fault u pissed your money away. Lets face it. If any tier 1 needs a raise.notice I said need.not want!. If they need a raise its because there own fuckups.not ours.u all honestly think its fair that we work same hours.we sweat.we bleed the same as u. People that voted no on previous contracts even if it would shut their plant down or eliminate their very own job. People who made $73K one year and $39K the next. Those people can see both sides of the argument better than anyone.
Fuck two tiers, fuck the animosity between the tiers. Nobody should want to take from one tier to better their own. We are in this together. I don't want a single penny of a raise if it comes out of my coworkers' pockets.
Don't roll over on the next contract. Demand a raise, equality, AND a bonus. Fuck Jimmy Settles, AND fuck Ford negotiators.

But you're bitching about something that you knew about before you accepted the job. If you are upset about being tier 2,then you are really just upset with yourself. Justaworker no different in some of the 1st tier crying because no raise in ten years. In the contract ten plus years ago it said nothing about guarantee raises. They new that so why the bitching? I think its wrong they haven't got a raise in so long but they voted on it.

I like my job and the people I work with but i still believe I should be compensated the same after serve my due time like everyone else.

Actually yes our contract did guarantee us raises and we lost them. We also lost over a dollar an hr in COLA that we were making along with our $600 Xmas bonus. So if your gonna run your mouth then know what your talking about. We lost raises, $1 per hr, Xmas bonus, holiday for Easter and break time. Your running it about stuff you know nothing about.

What gets under my skin is all the concessions we agreed to was supposed to be temporary and would get back when Ford got back in the black, then they came back asking for more concessions that we turned down on a Saturday vote the it came out in the paper on Monday Ford was reinstating all the concessions taken away from salary personnel plus bonuses...wow wanted us to make more concessions on Saturday knowing that article was coming out on Monday and was going to laugh in our faces so I guess what I'm getting at is don't believe your ever going to get to full pay and we are going to be screwed even more in the future .. That's how the Ford system operates plain and simple they are a bunch of liars

Those things were just being suspended for a bit to help ford out, we would get them all back next contract... Then the uaw screwed us.

Yes we believed it was temporary. We were told it was a temporary suspension. A grievance was filed after we were screwed out of them and a mediator ruled against us.
