If that was really the case we would have a MTG in the Lincoln garage & the plant mgr would address it or we would have a MTG during downtime like today & each supervisor would address his crew.whenever they say go back to the line & spread it, its usually propaganda. Next year is contract, they start about a yr early with doom & gloom, plant is closing, profits are down, take on more work, take concessions etc as soon as the contract is ratified everything is great again. And its always the same "oh this time is different"

We need to ignore the worthless union and the asshat management. Vote down the bad contract offer and not fall for a weak signing bonus.

It is propaganda I agree with that.however they have a certain target % to meet monthly for bonuses and your not going to see that in paint or garage because its all relative to the end of the line..Don't believe go ask!!I pray that we all stick together and get the contract we ALL DESERVE!! We may have to strike to get what we want, not saying I personally want to strike but my family and I are already preparing for the worst!!I will not bite the dangling carrot!!!

We were told that our plants quality was terrible and our first time thru numbers were terrible and that if things don't change Detroit was looking to move the Escape and Lincoln to other plants and close LAP. Was told by management in QLEADER meetings sunday and Monday night and to tell everyone else so that's what I'm doing, take it for what it's worth... I wonder what Detroit expects hourly to do about quality and numbers? We're required to do what management tells us to do & they continue to buyout units with defects and parts missing only worrying about the numbers while untold numbers of units sit idle waiting to be repaired and I doubt Detroit has a clue how much management is doing this. Also, Vendors have caused most of our number & quality issues so maybe Detroit should address them instead of threatening hourly with plant closure. Remember we're one year away from the national contract & this crap happens every time contracts talks begin. Bottom line is if Ford decides to close LAP there's nothing hourly can do about it, but we all know it would take time to move our product and in the mean time Ford would lose billions & Ford stock would plummet and possibly never come back to what it is now. Come contract time UAW could well decide to strike if Ford plays to much hardball. Believe what you want but these facts can't be changed or even altered, they are what they are!

Fellow employees, bad leadership tries to scare you. We've seen it from the higher ups in the uaw. Thats how we got this crop contract. And I guess somebody got a glimpse of it from a supervisor here. No worries.

We are a very profitable plant. The uaw is composed of lies and greed. As is the company. Separate heads of the same beast! Ignore them. Strike! End 2 tier. Get back cola. 10 billion in profit for Detroit needs to kick back to us in a major way.

Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
Keep tabs on your fellow workers vote, if they will be for or against the next contract. Like last time it seemed we would vote it down by all the NAY voters I talked to. But Surprise! It passed! Im telling you our votes do not count and the voting machines are rigged how the IUAW wants them.

Much of the money spent improving plants come as tax grants paid for by the local tax payers. So, ford could spend millions on a new paint shop this week, and close the doors next week. Wouldn't be the first time. No, those decisions involve deals done behind closed doors that we will never be party to. Do what you want. Do what you think is best. Do what you do without thought or concern about the future of your plant, because that will never be within your control, or influence.
