Union Meeting: The next union Meeting will be Tuesday Jan. 12 at KTP Union Hall. Meetings will take place at 12pm and 6pm. Please be sure to sign the attendance books if you are on any standing union committee and not on the roll call of officers.
Fidelity Investments (TESPHE) : The new company handling your money is ACS. For your 401k access: go to www.myfordbenefits.com ,the initial login is your social security number, password is your birth date-ddmmyy
Plant Computers: Our IT Department has brought to our attention that Ford continues to have many issues with viruses and downloads coming from the following WEB pages that are accessed throughout the plant. CNN.com and FOX Networks. Please try to avoid using these as much as possible. Your home computer may be at risk also.
Life Insurance Update: Please call and verify your Beneficiary on your Optional Life Insurance policy. We have had several deaths over the holidays and it has come to light that several beneficiaries were never changed and their ex-spouses, parents which are deceased, and/or no one is left to receive your benefits. Your estate is then left in the hands of the courts and lawyers. Please call 1-800-742-8215 to verify or change who you would like to be your beneficiary.
Calendar Books: Ford has made a mandate of no Promotional item spending, which paid for the calendar books in the past years. We are trying to work through this issue, but no end date in sight. Autotruck has offered to give all their members calendar books upon request at their locations.
Kentucky Kingdom : Season Passes are now available for 2010, passes cost $29.99, Cash Only. Please see Ralph Napier, 3674 or Terry Niehaus at the Hall.
Update Direct Deposit Info: The password you use to log into the bid machines will be the same password you will need to log in to the direct deposit WEB site. So if you can not remember, please call Ext. 4357 from any phone in the plant and/or call 1-888-317-4957 to reset it. It takes about 3 minutes. LAP official start date will be Feb. 15, anyone wishing to pull up their pay stubs now may do so by the following links. Web site will be www.at.ford.com , Inside Ford, US Employees. You may also try web.hronline.ford.com

Plant info on working or not working will be placed on here when a decision about working is cancelled or delayed. Wave 3 for TV, and WAMZ 97.5 for Radio.
Military Leave: Trim committeeman Gary Clark will be on military leave at Fort Jackson S. Carolina to become a certified Chaplain for the military forces. He will be gone 3 months and in his absence, Dennis Skaggs will be covering for him.
Buy-Outs Open: Buy- Out window is open thru Jan. 22, There are 4 packages available, see Labor Relations for details and qualifications. 1) $50,000 lump sum 2) $25,000+$20,000 car voucher 3) 55yrs old with atleast 10yr sen. and retirement eligible $20,000 non-skilled, $40,000 skilled or 4) $25,000 car voucher or $20,000 cash. All skilled trades are being allowed to sign-up currently and will be reviewed by location.
Tentative Work Schedule: All tentative down weeks have been canceled as of this week. Things can change anytime. The un-official shutdown is scheduled for July 5th and 12th weeks. Ford must confirm in writing by April 1st to be official, so do not make plans till they are CONFIRMED. The official last day of the Explorer is currently set at Nov. 24, 2010.
