When LAP shutdown for retool all of you will be classified as ILO, You could be surveyed for Chicago if you turn it down you will lose your pay and benefits. If you have more seniority then a worker at KTP you could roll him, then he would have to go.
Now as far as them surveying you to go you we wont know until the last minute it depends on how many people volunteer to go.
But you will be classified as ILO and anyone who says different is lying to you.

justaworker If I remember correctly when the 1st round of givebacks where announced you where in favor of them, and your post shows how wrong you where.
I'm not trying to scare anyone the facts are that when LAP shutdown for retool those workers will be classified as ILO and thats a FACT. Remember how everyone was told that they would be classified as TLO? Not anymore ,and I believe telling people up front is the best way to inform LAP workers what's going to happen.

Steve Stone said a while that they were trying to WORK ON us being classified as TLO when we go down for re-tool. I forgot about this til you brought it up. That's been a while back, & haven't heard anything since. That's not a good sign.

I have to agree with Elmer's scare tactics...there's no reason to think they won't be classified at ILO. Ford is not in the business of offering TLO anymore.

One problem I have with this theory:
LAP does not shut down for retool until November. The 400 or so on ILO nationwide would have already been surveyed so Ford can bring in two-tier workers. Ford will fill the extra positions with two-tier workers faster than I can drive through McDonald's.
I am not saying that those laid off this fall will be on ILO or TLO. I am just questioning if they will be asked to move anywhere. Those jobs in Chicago will be filled quickly and neatly..........

Steve, Herb, anyone have the answer. ILO or TLO. If you know now, so should we. If ILO, yes we will be angry, but we will be a lot more angry if we are not told until the last minute.

Steve Stone responded to a question from an email I sent him, he said currently active LAP workers will be TLO during re-tool.

Steve, a lot of people are saying that we will be on ILO instead of TLO during re-tool. What's the truth? Thanks.
