Congrats to everyone...and especially to St. Clair for getting TOP 5...Sanders for being top vote getter in whatever he chooses to run for...and getting some of that LAP blood in there...Danny D (which is really a KTP homer, but he will always be an LAPer as well as a Buckeye...man this guy has too many roots...lol)...and Jay Henry! I heard good things about Goodman and Big E...glad to hear they made it as well. But I'm kind of shocked David Elmore did not make the list...he would have been a good addition to our roster...hopefully he's the 1st alternate used by everyone?

I know several of these guys that got elected and they deserve our support as well. I will say that some of them will only do their job if you STAY ON THEIR ASS TO DO SOMETHING. Don't be bashful about presenting an issue with your committee-person. AND , if they blow you off, ask again and tell them that you will stay on them. That is their job and we shouldn't be bashful about getting contractual help. McDonalds is hiring is never an answer! Congratulations to our committee people! I hope that you wanted the job to WORK for your brothers and sisters in the plant. I wonder sometime if some of you just want to get off a job? You have the absolutely hardest job in the plant in the next few years ! Shit is about to hit the fan with the contract , and you have to tell the brotherhood that they are still required to do everything right and to come to work. Remember everyone , that everything we have , our brothers before us negotiated or actually went on strike for. If you think that striking shouldn't be an option then you don't belong in this union.------which is going to be tested sternly in the short term. Stick together, do your job right , ..........and get what YOU deserve! Nothing more, but sure as hell nothing less!.............

That's been the biggest misconception about being a committeeman...they do it to get off the line. They have the toughest job in the plant if they do their best. Anyone can hide in the union office or not even be in the plant...but to be a great union rep, it's much harder than being on the line IMHO.

Not that many people will notice(I did), but could you put the revised list up. There was a mistake on the #25th elected position.
Thanks,
Tim Heil
