Hey brothers and Sisters, when it gets TOO HOT in there.......Tell Management AND the Union that Wayne Assembly in Michigan was able to go home yesterday (7/21/11) because it was 99 degrees. Just something to hopefully help get relief from this searing heat.

I can see it now on whas11 news. Ford workers go home because its too hot. Film at 11.
I get it that its hot, but it has been a lot hotter than this. Drink water not that sugar kool aid they give us and deal with it. I am pretty sure this isn't anybody's first summer in here.

Speaking as a former EMT I can tell you that it is unhealthy at best to work extended periods in these temperatures. Just sayin.

In paint it was 102, not including humidity. Tonight we got 15 minutes per hour heat relief. Wouldn't it be cheaper to install some "chillers" like Toyota has in Georgetown, KY? Or even fans?
