I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if somebody got in trouble with the labor relations post and now everybody is running scared...

Rumor has it that the 24 or so that started this week were told we are working the 10th and 24th...just can't figure out why the entire workforce has not been informed yet?

Funny part...those are the tentative dates, but supposedly Bobnar told the new hires we are working the 10th and 24th...why not tell us?

Well, Bobnar put out a letter today stating we are working the 10th and 24th...we have too many of our units on the lots right now, but they want to work OT. LOL

Nothing like a week and a half notice!!!!! F**CKING BS, guess they, co. & union, don't think we have lives outside Ford. Thanks. Order bank doesn't justify Sat work or was it the 98% yes strike vote approval!! !!

Why are you surprised with the notice. These dates have been floating around for the last month.

The surprise is the fact we have too many on the lots...well over the target days supply. With that being said, are they stock piling units like every contract in case of a strike? I predict both are cancelled...dealerships don't need them and that's what matters.

Not surprised ktp 399, just frustrated. I know the dates have been floating around but never heard any dates from co. or union, only possible Sat dates. I would think the union would step up and tell co. we need more notice. I'm tired of hearing about my kids growing up and would like to see them grow up, Sat.s just take more time away from them (especially when they play sports).

It's not about units on dealer lots.. Its about meeting wall st expectations, or getting as close as they can even if they rob fourth quarter sales. Sick financial times when everything is so short sighted.

I think they pulled the 10th out of their ass because of the expected high number of awols this Friday. I guarantee that next Sat. the 10th will be canceled.

If any of you did not see the email sent out by Bobnar, the 10th and the 24th are tentative. But that could change with there being bigger on hand supply of trucks at the dealers.

I saw the letter that Bobnar put out today. I was surprised by the inventory number. Our order bank keeps going up. GM is cutting truck production back. We also have to look at what just happened with the East Coast. I'm guessing that there was alot of vehicles lost by customers and the dealers. As far as the Union standing up about short notice, LMAO. They don't even now when we are working.
