Subject: MANDATORY PRODUCTION – SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th Saturday, September 10, 2011 is a mandatory production day for the Kentucky Truck Plant.
Unless otherwise instructed by your supervisor, you are required to report at the following start times:
Body, Paint, Pre-Trim and Associated MP&L Employees: #1 11:00pm start (Friday, September 9th) #2 7:00am start #3 3:00pm start Final Area (Frame, Engine, Tire, Chassis, U/P Trim), Pre-Delivery including MOD Center and Associated MP&L Employees: #2 6:00am start #3 2:30pm start (start time change) Stamping: #2 6:00am start #3 2:30pm start (start time change) Skilled Trades: Weekend crew schedules remain unchanged. All other Skilled Trades employees are required to report to work at your regularly scheduled start time unless otherwise notified by your Supervisor.
Paid day off requests: Employees may begin to request paid time-off on Production Saturdays only after the official Labor Relations Bulletin has been released announcing the mandatory production day. Requests submitted prior to notification via a Labor Relation's bulletin will not be considered. Chris Peace Supervisor, Labor Relations Kentucky Truck Plant

Does it make anyone else mad that they change night shifts start time??? Our Saturday is already ruined, MAKE them pay us double time after midnight!!!

They always change it on Saturdays. Nothing new.

It used to be, in the contract, they had to give you a 48 hour notice to change your start time. If they didn't they could still change it, but had to pay u double time the first hour. I don't know if the contract still reads this or not.

Well since this is more than 48 hours notice it would be a moot point.
