Its sad reading replies on different forums, how the general population thinks we are all over paid and have gravy jobs. Of course if they walked an inch in our shoes they would run, crying and screaming.

GM and Chrysler will have to settle for the big dangling carrot signing bonus...they must give Ford workers at least COLA and quite possibly one raise to get close to a yes vote from the majority. They can talk about fixed costs all they want, Ford is still making tons of money with the highest costs...so who gives a shit as long as they are making HUGE profits.
