This will pass with 54-55% voting YES...we work with too many people that live in fear. They are afraid if Ford went out of business tomorrow, they would be homeless...no other option in life...no ability to find another job...no food...no roof...but I'm not talking about everyone...it only takes 51% of our brothers/sisters to feel this way. Too many of our co-workers would be working at Wal-mart if it weren't for having a job at Ford. They feel lucky to work here...blessed to have a job paying them over $1000 a week...decent insurance/benefits...a pension (that will remain the same, if it exists at all, for at least the next 4 years). I can only fantasize about the possibility of our members voting this down at over 65% sending our leaders a clear message that they absolutely suck and are 100% out of touch with the workforce at FoMoCo. Peace out bitches!

Used to I would have agreed with you Scott, but I think we as a workforce crossed over that threshold of fear when we overwhelmingly voted down the last concessions. I don't think that same fear is there any more. All they will do if we vote no is go back to the bargaining table, which is where they should still be now.

Too many people still living beyond their means...too many people see the signing bonus as a way to pay off one credit card but not all three...too many use signing bonuses, tax returns, and profit sharing as a means to pay down debt, but don't realize they accumulated more than they paid off during that 12 month period...down size people...live like a true middle class poor man so you can vote against crap like this and not settle because you have to. I've been there...not there anymore and it feels invigorating...I'm ready to move to a cardboard box before I vote yes to this rag.

Im voting "NO" as well, but I see it passing with a 58% to 42% final, because Guido runs the polling machines.

Kind of hard for them to sell fear when the company is making 18 billion a year in profits. It wont work this time Fords making to much money and everyone knows it.

I've been ready to vote no. I only hope that our other brothers and sisters will see through the smoke and vote the same. You see how they made "investments" in plants that are suppose to be closed or in limbo of no product in order to get those members to vote for the contract. If they are going to make all of those investments and create that many jobs then why are all of those plants employees trying to transfer to LAP and KTP. Sounds fishy to me. If this "SORRY" contract passes we will see if they do what they say. Last contract was suppose to provide all of these jobs and plant investments. Instead people on ilo and no investments. More of the same lies and the sorry IUAW looking out for themselves. Wonder how much they are getting under the table to try to sell this to us?

I hear you on that but there's always that jackass trying to get in your ear about buying a new car, like a Fusion, when you are perfectly fine with the two you have that are paid off.

of course it will pass. the contract has nothing to do with the grievence. the company doesnt want fixed costs but they are willing to pay out bonusus. our economy sucks and we still have alot of debt. be happy your getting free money and stop winning.

I think they can sell fear. KCAP, Avon Lake, and Flatrock are suppose to get investments in their plants and a new product. They can say they will shut the doors if this isn't passed.

And there is the common reply from everyone outside of Ford that hates us. If it's all about the economy, then why a 4 yr contract...let's re-evaluate the economy every year.

What did the union get back that we "temporarily" gave up for the company to get back on track.....name one thing we got back...nothing. This will get blasted back to the IUAW in my opinion. This membership is pissed and when we get mad...we vote. This will be fun.

If it passes it won't be because of KTP. Hearing about 95% people around me saying 'NO'.

If it passes it won't be because of KTP. Hearing about 95% people around me saying 'NO'. I think it will end up passing. Then you will not be able to find 10 people willing to admit they voted yes. It is the way it has always been. People talk shit then vote yes anyway.
