Before contract negotiations started, Bob King said the concessions have cost Ford workers between $7000 and $30,000. Using those figures, the average cost of the concessions for the average worker would be about about $18,500. So how is a $6,000 signing bonus and $6,000 worth of cost of living bonuses taxed at 40% supposed to an incentive to pass this contract?
