I also dont think this is a great deal (not even close) what i'm concerned with is if we turn this down we will still have the same rotten people workin on another proposal, who thinks they have already gotten us a great deal. and if we strike, these same people will still be getting their pay checks while we all lose money.plus we are the only ones who know how bad they screwed us, all the rest of the country will see is, how ford workers don't think $10,000 by the end of the year is enough money for them.initially my thopught on this was HELL NO! but then you think about the next step and who will be leading it. this deal should have never been brought to us, but now that it has we are screwed either way.(just my thoughts)

skimp, my mind isnt even close to be being made up one way or the other, unlike most of you on here, i like to think out scenerios before jumping in head first.as a long time history with ford (my father started work for them in 1946) I know how hard all the workers before us fought and for us to have given so much up a couple of years ago really bothers me. ( I am guilty for voting for the concessions) and thought for sure we would get it back this year. there for i'm leaning towards no. but then i think as long as bob king and jimmy settles are there. is it really going to be any better. unlike most i could handle a long strike. but until bob and jimmy are gone. will it be worth it.

It's worth letting them know how we feel about their decisions and because the concessions were given temporarily until now(end of contract) therefore we shouldn't have to fight. We made an agreement and they(FoMoCo) should honor their end of it or be made to.

Judging by the history you have with the company that question shouldn't have been considered. Most of us couldn't afford a long strike financially, but standing against this would be a small price to pay to defend our principles. The COLA and pay increases(lack of) has a tremendous effect on our future, for without them the economy will continue to rise and our income will fall behind. So a little financial strain now is worth fighting for a better secured future.

I also acknowledge that King and Settles did absolutely nothing for us by not ensuring the concessions were restored. The company got 5.9bil from the Govt. as a loan in Nov.'09 for retooling to produce fuel efficient vehicles and if they created X amount of jobs then they wouldn't have to pay the money back, therefore the money and the jobs were already in the making. THEY DID NOTHING!!

It's amazing people can come on here and hide behind a screen name.... Yep thats why I post my name so everyone knows who I am for better or worse hehe. Yep. Same here Marcus. VOTE NO on this BS. Had a guy tell me he thought it looked like a good deal. He read the highlights. I asked him if he read the whole contract. He said "It's not out yet dumbass." I told him to come here and the link was up, then asked him who's the dumbas now. My point is people are looking at the HIGHLIGHTS only and not getting the whole picture.
