Many of you show a lack of trust and faith in both your employer and your union. Do you trust the outcome of the election being that it will be conducted in the plant? They used to spend money to rent out large halls, Broadbent Arena, Ky Center for the Arts, Convention Center, wherever. How about they hire an accounting firm to conduct the election to assure us it's a believable outcome?

Wow this has stink all over it, we need some kind of 3rd party to observe this election now that the UAW is a major stock holder in Ford. I'm sure this is not legal.

The last contract mod was held at lap union hall. No reason we can’t do it there again. Being held inside the plant is unacceptable. If this stands we will need 24 hour monitors at the polls. With electronic booths this is near irrelevant, but at least if they are going to cheat they will have to put some money into software to make it happen.

Why are we not voting at the KTP union hall? That's where most of us are working, and we could vote on the way into work, or on the way home.
Are they trying to make it difficult to vote on the contract?

I think they are trying to make it easier to vote...they want everyone to vote, especially those that don't ask one single question, believe everything their union reps tell them, and go by Settles/King's word to ratify this contract because "we got you a great contract." All you have to do is talk to your co-workers...many have no clue about anything...they are puppets, nothing else. With the polls in the plant, the TL(s) will be encouraged to make sure all of their people go up to vote by them freeing them up on the line to do so. What better way to vote than some time off the line? They want as many of the people that would never show up to vote to do so...they are the YES voters. The vocal, pissed off people were gonna vote regardless...now they get people that could care less to go cast their yes vote. Isn't that the scenario which is about to be played out?

I'm hearing our local and DTPs are the last to vote??? because they want some positive news coming from the plants getting new work and get some positive votes so it gets this towards passing...if we went first and voted it down by 80% that would send a sign to the other locals and they would jump on board...cause in my opinion KTP will vote this down heavly...and with the voting taking place on site...everyone pissed will vote....this will get ugly at KTP in my opinion.

I'm praying "NO" is the outome, but with Eskridge putting out the letter endorsing the contract-will this make most of the union people stand behind him as well and endorse it themselves? All of the no opinion people follow whatever they are told to do... Hope everyone remembers who was in favor of this lousy contract when the elections come back around again....People talk of impeaching King-what about Eskridge??

I did read today though that DTP will have their meeting this weekend.

Having it in the plant only increase's the chance for anyone in management to cast a yes vote when we are not there. Sure the trades people will be in the plant but I am sure they will be kept busy and far from the voting booth's. I see nothing but scamming and lieing all over the result's of the vote. VOTE NO!!!!
