If I return to my basic unit, do I lose my seniority?
NO, the language says that if you transfer to a permanent job opportunity in the same zone you terminate your seniority to all other facilities, in other words you will take your seniority to your basic unit with you.
From Page 97A - Active employees who have voluntarily transferred to a permenant job oportunity within the same zone TERMINATE their seniority to all other facilities. From 190C - Employees transferring to another in-zone facility as a result of a MANDATORY placement action will maintain their basic unit rights.
So one has to assume in this language that if an LAPer stayed at KTP VOLUNTARILY - they lose their basic unit of LAP.
MY only question is- What seniority is lost? Bidding plant seniority or FORD seniority? Is my 15 years from LAP erased toward my retirement because I stayed at KTP??!!!!!

I don't have the contract in front of me right now so I'm paraphrasing but it does say those who transferred subsequent to the 2011 agreement maintain RTBU rights to in and out of zone facilities.
I would like a final answer to this question though.
