If the IUAW is successful in erasing the Big 3's right to strike in the future, wouldn't the strike fund prize of over $700 million be nice to raid?!!!! The VEBA could use it you know.

VEBA is in great shape. Uncle Ron and Uncle Bob swore at the last modification that it would last 85 years. They wouldn't lie, would they?

But Tony has a great point...why not use 2/3 of the strike fund since Chrysler and GM gave up their right. Why continue to take from us to fund VEBA when they have a large fund sitting there that can't and won't be used? I assume they plan on using this money to fund their efforts to lie to the foreign plants in an attempt to get more union dues.
