It's getting more comical everyday...why even have a union now?

Somehow, some way we need to figure out how to get our union back. It is obvious our leaders are sitting on the other side of the table with the company. Somehow we need to get them back on our side of the table and I do not see that happening as long as we can not directly vote for who we want to represent us at the IUAW.

If we can only get the IUAW to talk out of one side of their mouths.

Also the same union that sat idly by and twiddled their thumbs while our jobs were outsourced and shipped overseas and then wants you to accept a POS contract because it creates jobs.

American politics took the power away from our union. Ford and the rest of the profit hungry corporate world is the enemy , not the UAW.

Yeah, I understand that, but if we lay down now, what does that do to our next generation? Our fathers/grandfathers bled for what we have...I think it's time for us to bleed.

The next generation is the second tier worker. Bleed all you want, welcome to the "new" America. Strength is in numbers and 90% of Americans hate unions

Its apparent now why they wanted us to give up the no strick clause....cause they contract is worthless and they knew the membership would push back.

The 90% of All Americans that hate unions will learn the hard way. They will begin to make a decent wage where they work, once they climb that ladder, then they will get that ladder jerked out from under them when the company they work for decides it is time to "claim more money for themselves". They will just get rid of the better paid employee and start all over with a lower wage employee. Then the person that has worked 10-15 years to get to a decent wage will be older and less likely to find a job, even at minimum wage! Just ask around, you will find that is happening already..Oh, but okay...it won't happen to you!!! Hummm
