Can we sell the union hall. Use the money for VEBA and give the union rep's a raise? or use the money to pay all our union dues for the next 4 years. The union could just meet in one of the empty rooms around the plant. (not my idea -heard from a guy I worked with last night- I think this would work.)

It is kind of weird to own all this property and not utilize it for much? But as the one article pointed out, they are selling off lots of property right now.

It's the very reason Bob King said we'd get no raise, he wanted more DUES paying members. Bob, you could have at least moved us up to GM's wage scale. Hello, Bob? That's right, you don't listen. Thank goodness you must retire before the next one.

Why do we even need TWO halls in Louisville. How bout sell em both and build ONE hall that is centrally located between the two plants.

I had wondered if it was held on company property because it would've been a lot harder to conduct exit polls. With the vote being fairly close again, I have to wonder if exit polls would've shown a different tally. Why don't we ever conduct any exit polls???

I hope they don't dip into VEBA and other retirement programs like the state and federal government does.

I hope the next union elections are voted on in plant...but that will never happen...they prefer low voter turnout then, helps the popular ones.

I hope they don't dip into VEBA and other retirement programs like the state and federal government does. How about YOUR strike fund??? Is it ok to dip in that??? Too late they have dipped in it TWICE to the tune of around 300 million to use to try to persuade the imports into going union.Get a IUAW constitution book and read.... they have the ability to dip into it twice in between each convention at 150 million a pop(from strike fund) and yes they voted this in
