We should start at our locals buy logging calls and show them are digust with their raises , put heat on them and they well go to international , We need to find out who are delagates are and get on them for voting it in.Is their any kind of record of (minutes ) that what goes on at these meetings ,what was discussed, and who voted on what you get a enough people bitching and something will break let all people on floor know somehow, show them proof with paperwork so they will trust you

Hell, for the most part, we can't even vote in good committeeman. What makes anyone think we could vote in a good International President?
What is really funny is another post knocking Team Leader elections as popularity contests. Not necessarily voting in the best man for the job. Hmmm... I think I see a connection here?

The larger locals sponsoring their own candidate would always have a huge advantage...

I think the way the represenitives vote, from the committee person and up should be available to the members of the union,so in the next election you could be sure if you are voting for the person with the best interest of the people. The same way congress and state senate results are. I'll probably hit a nerve with that one..........

I agree, I have been predicting Dennis Williams also. They seem to be keeping his hands clean. There will not be people speaking bad about him. I do not think Jimmy Settles is very popular right now.

You know if IUAW would cut their pay by 10% this would give 9 million to retiree programs since IUAW has a 90 million payroll they gave 10% of our profit sharing to VEBA . You know we pay IUAW wages ,we are there employer since when does the employee make more than employer 70% of them make 100K thats 40grand more than we make these are secretarys, reps , We need to wake up people.

Simple solution to the problem, we are unhappy with the way they are representing us right. Time to stand together and show them who is control of their pay, vote to decertify the UAW agreement with Ford. At the very least if KTP and LAP do this, all of our local people who went to IUAW will etheir have to come to work with us on the line or retire.

Why does one union need 5 VICE PRESIDENTS all making $100,000+ a year ? Or over 30 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS making $100,000+ a year ?
