they are covering you until 430 if you have childcare issues. the change in start times of a shift did not meet the required notification timeline so technically you cant show at 430 and nothing can be done...."that was easy"

Let's hope everyone in trim remembers the union come election time. the membership couldn't even remember that the company gave it's salary workforce raises and bonus money without returning our "temporary" concession in the new contract but voted to accept anyways...they will forget this by wed...lol.

I don't see how they could fire anyone over an AWOL. An AWOL is just an AWOL regardless if there's a basketball game on TV. Anyone who has a good attendance record could miss a day for a legit reason, call the attendane tracking hotline, and not give a hoot about the game. Sounds like grounds for a lawsuit to me. each member has x amount of paid time off and x amount of awols before he/she can be disciplined....if you take care of business and you need Monday off...you either get the day or take off and nothing can be done about it.....yet if you use all your time, keep your record filled with awols, write ups...etc...then you must come to work...see ya Tuesday Go Cats

So let me get this straight I have 17 yrs and Dec. elegibility and yesterday I could of put in for the last week of june.But now I have to wait til June...... ??why wtf????Why should dec. People have to wait til june when they could of already scheduled the time off..This sucks just like ALL THE ASSHOLES THAT AGREED TO THIS FUCKIN SHIT.... Remember this at election time. Yea u can use it for April or may but I already have another week for 15 yrs.And I cant put in for anything past June.Even though I could have put in for dates after June back in DEC. ??ALSO HEARD FROM A SOURCE THAT THEY CAN CUT OUT 2 WEEKS NEXT YEAR IF THEY WANT.NOTHING IN WRITING SAYING THEY HAVE TO SHUT DOWN EVERY YEAR FOR 2 WEEKS.SO I'M GUESS-IN NEXT YEAR THE PEOPLE WITH LESS THAN 15 YEARS WILL ONLY GET 60HRS VAC. TIME....THEY CAN DO THAT. I have 17yrs and Dec Elg. I put in for the Second week of July as soon as I heard the bullshit about only one week. Me and two other guys got our week off. I ask for something in writing that said that I can`t use my extra 40 hrs of my 120 hrs of Vac for that week. Nothing in writing that says we can`t but the Union would not help. I worked with my boss and got it done. Why am I paying Union dues? In the last 10 years I have paid over $7000.00 in Union dues and what did they do for that $7000.00 ? Cut my pay then froze it , Cut my benefits, cut break time, then took my bonuses and my anal virginity. And all you Union suck ups can talk all your shit you want but In my family and friends outside of Ford I`m the only one that has not had a pay raise in the last 3 years and most of them only went a few years if any with out one. ( we will go over 12 years by the end of this contract.) Save your money so we all can stand up and be heard next contract.
