Union Meeting Notes
May 8, 2012
KTP Union Hall
KTP Chairman's Report
• The current order bank for Kentucky Truck Plant is as follows: Super Duty 38,188
units; Expedition 8,378 units and Navigator 1,204 units.
• I will be out of town next week attending National Ford and Sub Council
meetings. I hope to get an update on the Equity of Sacrifice grievance. The
following week I will be at Region 8 standing committee conferences.
• We have reached a tentative local agreement. The new language is being
passed out to the membership. If you have not received a copy please contact
your committeeperson. Ratification vote is Thursday May 10 with polls opening at
5am through Friday May 11, 2012, with polls closing at 7pm. Poll location is in
the FCPA room at the end of chassis at C-30.
• The 10:1 team ratio is National language and will be implemented at different
times across the country. Each facility has a budget to have this implementation
of a 10:1 ratio to coincide with vehicle launches at each plant. KTP is scheduled
to implement the 10:1 ratio with the launch of the 2015 Super Duty. Until then our
current language of 14:1 will remain in effect. The team leader selection process
that is currently used by each plant will remain the same with the new ratio.
• I want to congratulate the winners of the National Ford Delegate positions,
Charlie Jones, Jeff Halfacre and Janet Fowler. These three will represent
Kentucky Truck Plant Local 862 at National Ford meetings.
• Open enrollment for the Optional Life Insurance is from July 16 to August 31,
2012. All members should receive notification in the mail. Any questions
regarding this should be directed to your UAW benefits representatives at 241-

vestibule. The times will be 11am to 4:30 pm. There will be many vendors
including doctors, dentists, Insurance companies and schools. There should be
many free items so please take time to participate.
