Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I am pleased to announce the starting of a brand new program for our brothers and sisters of Local 862. This program will be held for active and retired brothers and sisters. This program will start on June the 4Th, 2012.
This program is going to revolve around the 12 step program. Most people think that this is only for someone who has a drinking or drug problem and that is a very big misconception when talking about the 12 step program. Learning how to deal with life on life's terms, finding that way to bring more peace into your life and get the stress gone will go a long way. I can only speak for myself when I say that the 12 step program changed my life for me, my wife and kids.
We do have rules at this meeting and the most important rule is ANONYMITY!!!!!! We ask that what is said in those rooms stay in those rooms. This meeting is a place that you can come and let some steam off. Talk about your issues and listen to others because you will be surprised to learn that you are not the only one that has had that same issue or issues that you're having.
I am inviting all that want to come to the hall after each shift on Mondays. The meeting will start at 3pm for day shift and for night shift; the meeting take place as soon as chassis goes down. Some areas run longer so don't worry about being late because we will be there waiting for you.
Day shift will park on the side of the building and the entrance as if you were going to see the benefit reps. The back room is an ideal place to hold a meeting and have some privacy.
Night shift will also park on the side and come through the gray door leading into the kitchen and out the stage gym area. If you have any questions regarding this program, please feel free to call Brent Eskridge 718-6596 or email me at deskridg@ford.com
I am trying to find a way to make this happen for body and paint but at this time have not come up with an ideal. Suggestions are welcomed but the problem is the hours.
In Solidarity,
Brent Eskridge.
