Then i realized
It isn't 120+ degrees I'm not carrying 70+ pounds of gear I'm not thousands of miles away from home And I don't have to worry about driving over an IED or getting shot at.
Thanks to ALL who serve. They make my problems look small in comparison.

The difference being, there is no way to make it cool for the soldiers over there and Ford is a multi billion dollar company who depends on great quality yet is just too cheap to spend the money to make a more comfortable environment for their employees to improve quality, moral and attendance.

you think it was bad 2 weeks ago....last week while the plant was down and the fans were off...hell. Toyota and GM in bowling green have AC...so it's possible to put in an assembly plant.

It's been terrible in LAP all week, even without everything running. The Toyota and Corvette plants are much newer than LAP, and were designed and built with A/C, it would be a huge cost to add it to this old plant, and everyone knows Ford doesn't care about the employees anyway.... LOL

For weeks now, we have also had "rolling blackouts" on chassis 2 over the running board pit and box deck so in addition to it being unbearably hot, it is also dark and almost impossible to do our jobs safely.
