July 10, 2012

President's Report
• Discussed the reduced cost of this year's UAW Local Picnic. This year's cost is
$67,000 compared to $100,000 last time.
• During the June membership meeting a survey was conducted to see what would
be the best time for the union meeting. Results were 31% of attendees to have it
on Sunday at 2pm and 69% to keep it the same.
• The Labor Mgt scholarship deadline is July 13, 2012; any questions contact Mark
Dowell at 429-2688.
• The Labor Day picnic at the Louisville Zoo is on September 3, 2012; from 10am
to 5pm. Lunch will be served from 11am to 3pm.
• The UAW Local 862 golf scramble will be on August 26, 2012; at Iroquois Golf
Course. Sign up forms are at the halls and in plant union offices.
• The Cincinnati Reds trip is on September 23, 2012.
KTP Chairman's Report
• The current order bank is as follows: Super Duty-36,333 units; Expedition-9,977
units and Navigator-1,542. This results in a schedule for the week of 7-9-12 of
1242 units off chassis or approximately 8.2 hours line time. The week of 7-16-12
has a schedule of 1400 units or 9.4 hours line time.
• There is a new committee structure effective 7-9-12.
• Thanked everyone that volunteered and played in the JDRF Golf Scramble this
year. We had a total of 62 volunteers. The scramble raised $42,000.
• Open enrollment for Optional Life Insurance will be 7-16-12 to 8-31-12.
• Any entry level employee, LTS or TPT that has issues with unemployment can
contact Royce Epperson at 429-2369.
• KTP will have the Falcon Club in the plant on Thursday for a tour. There will be
over 100 people in the tour.
• UAW and Ford have committed to a program to build ramps for people with
physical disabilities. We have freed up two carpenters through November 1, 2012.
The program is called "40 ramps in 20 weeks"
• Anyone that is interested in volunteering to work the state fair booth this year
should sign up in Labor Relations. All volunteers will receive tickets and a shirt.
• All information for the Equity of Sacrifice has been given to the arbitrator and we
should have a decision within 60 days.
• We have 11-10-12 and 12-1-12 is tentative Saturdays.
• The F series sales increased 11% over the same time last year. This was the best
June since 2007. The chart below compares the F series to our competitors.

LAP Chairman's Report
• Order bank is 19,403 units.
• Currently they are running 58 JPH with full line speed at 77.5 JPH.
• LAP is having a lot of issues with pay so make sure that you check your pay stub.
• LAP is schedule the next 5 Fridays and on a 12 hours schedule.
• C crew starts on 8-13-12. Herb Hibbs is the BC on nights until this starts.
• 7-21-12 is a scheduled Saturday.
• LAP union leadership had an issue with production Saturday before shutdown.
Felt with all the sacrifices that the membership has made it was a slap in the face.
Feel that games are going to be played.
• Have sent a letter up north saying that they want the local agreement not to be
extended anymore. We are going to start taking local proposals in the next few
weeks.
• LAP population is now over 4100 employees and is the largest in the Ford
system. They want the rolls number to be 3874 by the end of the year.
• LAP JDRF golf scramble is this Sunday at Nevel Meade.
• Union office phones are still not working.
• 8-2-2012 International is coming down to answer any questions for the pay and
seniority dates for the people that transferred from ACH plants.
• Skilled trades started 4 crews , 2 shifts a couple of weeks ago.
