We have been told on a Friday night before to work on Saturday. The unions response, "look at the money you will make." That's funny.......

How is it 862's fault. I didn't know our union set our production schedule. Come on guys, point the blame in the right direction. I'm not saying union is perfect, but Ford is using the "divide and conquer" on us and some people just don't see it. Labor and upper management are the one to blame on late notice.

what really gets ya, is on the same paper telling us that saturday is mandatory, they are also telling us it will probably be cancelled! Looks like they are gonna want us to keep every saturday ready for them!

Here's the deal on what they are doing to us with Saturdays....
We are essentially ALWAYS gonna have to prepare to work. They seem to be able to cancel or add at a whim.
"OK guys, you MIGHT have to work, now make your plans...."
But you know what? (and for the record I'm not advocating this, no, no, not at all)
What if they yanked our chain real bad for a month or so w/Saturdays, and then when they DID have one, attendance was only about 60%...............Cuz, you know, nobody ever knows how to plan....................
I'm just sayin'
