I'll try to keep this as short as possible: My mother's father passed away some years ago and his will Executor was his step-daughter. She's gone against the will in every single way..favoring her side of the family and royally screwing over my side of the family at every turn. For example..one of his wishes was to have his property sold and split the money evenly amongst the siblings...but instead she sells his Ford Ranger to some relative of her's for a fraction of blue book value and pocketed the money herself and some druggy relative of hers has been living in his old house rent-free. My mother and her brothers got a lawyer to try to get things settled but they have ran out of money and it looks like this witch will get away with defiling a man's last wishes. My question is thus: Can the UAW legal service help in any way? I don't know the extent of what they do so that is why I ask here.
Thank you.

First, let me say how sorry I am for your situation. I know how frustrating and upsetting that is to see your grandfathers wishes not being fulfilled and your family not getting the assets that they should be. I wish that I could offer you some hope, but unfortunately unless your mother is a Ford/UAW employee or you are specifically named as a beneficiary in the will, there is probably nothing that the Legal Services Plan can (or will) do for you. The plan (at least until the end of 2013) is for the sole purpose of helping Ford/UAW employees with individual leagal services for things of a personal and private nature. That means that they will do wills, trusts, deeds, and other document filings for you and assist you in the case of a personal lawsuit, but will not assist you with a problem with a business that you may own or a class action type of lawsuit and any leagal action against Ford Motor Company or one of it's dealers. If I were you, I would pursue the criminal complaint that dt466ih mentioned.

Thanks guys. I had a feeling it would have been a long shot but figured I would ask anyway.
EDIT: Just found out that he had his grandchildren listed in the will to get something..but as far as I know few if any of us got anything. Not listed by name, though.
EDITx2: The only decent thing the woman did was get the family together to divvy up his firearms after the man was sent to a nursing home (didn't want them all sitting in a abandoned house..for obvious reasons). The only one I got was probably the cheapest of the bunch..but it was the only one I wanted. Was my uncle's old FEG PMK (Walther PPK knockoff) .380 with his initials electropenciled onto the dustcover. Shoots like crap but I am never getting rid of it. Though..if they do somehow get her to do what she's supposed to do I will probably have to give it back to be sold at market value with everything else. Which would suck hard but if it would get things done.... And on a side note I found out the specifics of what happened with his Ford Ranger. She had it transferred to her daughter's name before he even died..and she put $500 in the pool or whatever it's called while the truck bluebooked for $2500 at the time. All the while 2 people on this side of the family were offering to buy it at blue book value. Man..no wonder she's divorced, heh.
