FORD LOUISVILLE ASSEMBLY PLANT

Changeover Temporary (COT) Carpenter (PAINTER) Posting
The Louisville assembly plant is surveying for individuals in our plant that
might have carpentry experience and are available during shutdowns to perform
work as a COT. If you have previous painting / carpentry experience and would
like to be considered for TEMPORARY opportunities during plant shut downs,
please submit proof of your classification, apprenticeship or documented
practical experience to the Labor Relations office.
It is preferred that employees will have a journeypersons card as a carpenter
or similar classification credentials.
Employees selected will be worked in accordance with their skill sets and then
by seniority.
COT’s are required to meet the obligations of their base non-skilled
classification first.
Changeover employees are considered temporary and are not considered to have
seniority or accrue seniority for any time spent performing the COT role.
The next planned work opportunity will be during July Shutdown. Work days
will be Monday through Friday, June 30 – July 4. Work will be on day shift
only, 8 hour days, with a 7:00 am start time.
Those who are selected will be scheduled to work all 5 days.
The posting will be effective from Monday June 2 to Monday June 9 11:59PM.
The sign up sheet is located in the Labor Relations office.
