I`m not saying Scott has done a bad job, but change isn't a bad thing either. New Ideas, New views, New visions. Rodney or John J ?

I think he's done a so so job.But I really don't know the dynamics of his position,so can't judge.Only thing I can say I didn't care for was letting LAP transfer her when their plant never closed permanently ..And now that had changed per last local? So if we changed it why???Was it wrong or what? Why would you change something in a local contract that you just granted to another group in people?Over it tho ..We need to worry about our future and he's there now with our lively hood in his hands.Soim backing him 100% for now..Seems like they would be leery of a shitty contract when RTW is creeping towards KY?

I would say Charlie Jones. By far the best committee person I ever had. If the union was full of his type a lot more people would be interested.

I nominated Jon Jaggers the last election. He did not accept the nomination. I hope he changes his mind next election. He is obviously popular - he received more votes than anyone, period.

I don't think Jon is ready yet, Rodney has peaked. Their currently is no one off the top of my head. The top 2 negotiators in the office currently in my opinion other than building or bargaining would have to be either Jon or Mike Stewart then maybe J Henry. Just my opinion as far as my experiences.

UAW 826 leadership is a sick fucking joke.
FIRST split this Local in two. KTP and LAP should be represented by two separate UAW locals.
THEN give Eskridge and his crew the boot.
UNLIKE MANY who post regularly to this Forum I BELIEVE IN TRADE UNIONISM. Yes, our local sucks. That is primarily due to the fact that the rank-and-file at LAP and KTP are LAZY. Want to know what is wrong with Local 826? Look in the mirror. The solution to the problem is to become ACTIVE and WORK ACTIVELY for CHANGE. Like your fathers and grandfathers did.
NOT to blow the whole thing up by opting out via right-wingnut so-called "right-to-work" union-busting. Which is sooo popular among the deadbeat, lazy, nihilists* who frequent this board.
*Look it up.

I agree, we need two locals. they did that in Ohio. Jaggers would be great. Rodney no way man. Rodney has gotten too big for his breeches. he already thinks he is the leader. Needs knocked down a few steps. We need new blood for sure

I like Jaggers & he is nice on the eyes, but remember he is one of Scotts boys. He does seem very fair and honest though. He tells you like it is and has the language to back it up.
