Sorry to clutter again, but now that the contract has passed I have a few questions that I haven't been able to find answers to on the floor.
1.) the contract states on page 342C : " LTS employees employees at the following locations will converted to In-Progression on the effective date of the 2015 Collective Bargaining Agreement." It goes on to list KTP.
I have worked my 90 days and was rolled to B Crew about 3 weeks ago. This is saying I am "In Progression" right?
2.) at the bottom of the same page of the contract it also states: "the seniority date for employees converted to IP in accordance with this letter will be the most recent date of hire...."
What exactly does that mean? What will my seniority date be? My start date? My 90th day? Ratification day? Any way to find out this date?
Will I be lumped with all the people who have been on the floor for 1 week?

Yes, and your seniority date will be your most recent hire date. Congrats.

Hey thanks man.
But really what does "most recent date of hire mean" ? It'd be nice to get a real response here for once.

Some people are hired as temps and then are laid off then hired again. That's why it says "most recent" hire date. If you hired in on July 20, 2015 (for instance) and you have not been laid off since that time then that will be your hire date. At least that's the way that I interpret that.

It is the day you were brought in, if you were layed off it is the day you came back. The letter said your date of hire, rehire, or reinstatement. Page 396c also said you will get the 8500 signing bonus.
